UAE Railway Network
The national railway is being developed to connect all seven Emirates through a modern rail infrastructure. Once passenger services are fully operational, trains are expected to provide a fast and comfortable alternative to driving between the country’s largest cities.
The railway corridor stretches from the western border near Saudi Arabia through Abu Dhabi and Dubai before continuing toward Sharjah and Fujairah on the east coast.

Route Overview
The railway begins in the western region of Abu Dhabi Emirate near the Saudi Arabian border and follows the country’s western coastline toward Abu Dhabi.
From Abu Dhabi, the railway continues north to Dubai before heading through Sharjah and Al Dhaid toward Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman.
A southern branch also connects Madinat Zayed with Liwa, improving transportation within the Al Dhafra Region.
